Novello Chartered Surveyors launches national commercial department to support significant company growth

A chartered surveying company that has experienced significant company growth in just three years has launched a new commercial department led by commercial Chartered Surveyor James Bostock, MRICS who has joined the company as Partner and Head of Commercial

This strategic senior hire and introduction of a new commercial department mark the start of the company’s ambitions to become one of the leading UK commercial surveyors and grow its commercial division, with a particular emphasis on London, the South East, North West and Yorkshire.

Novello Chartered Surveyors was set up by Co-Founders James Brook, FRICS and Jack Pye MRICS in 2019.  Despite launching on the cusp of the pandemic, the business has grown exponentially due to offering a highly detailed premium service that guides clients through the process rather than just producing reports. The team has increased from four to 28 employees and their services cover London, Yorkshire and the South East.

James Bostock, MRICS has a wealth of experience in commercial surveying and his skills and experience will be instrumental in launching and leading the new department. He joins Novello Chartered Surveyors from OBI, a multi-disciplined commercial property consultancy where he worked as a Chartered Building Surveyor for five years. He’s also previously held roles at CBRE and Hive Projects.

The commercial department will offer a one-of-a-kind service that combines the work of a quantity surveyor, project manager, contract administrator and health and safety co-ordinator for all Cat A and Cat B commercial surveying services. It will also offer both professional consultancy services and project consultancy services.

Whether it’s undertaking a wide variety of Professional Services, such as; Building Surveys, Schedules of Condition, Feasibility Studies, Reinstatement Costs Assessments, PPM’s, or holistic Dilapidations Advice, James will ensure that Novello’s clients receive the highest level of service and support from the new commercial department.
