Propertymark Members Reminded to Submit CPD Details before end of December

Propertymark is encouraging members who are yet to fill in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to do so before the end of December.
CPD constitutes as a substantial part of how the professional body presents the professionalism and commitment of its members to its audience.
Running from 1 January to 31 December, members must ensure that their CPD is logged before the year finishes. For those who joined part-way through the year, they will need to finish one hour’s CPD activity for each outstanding month. For example, if they joined in June, they would need to finish six hours’ CPD with a minimum of two hours gained through an educational event.
Every member has to complete and record 12 hours required CPD activity per year with a minimum of four hours gained through structured events like conferences, courses, or regional meetings, and eight hours gained via appropriate self-directed private study.
If you have an additional Propertymark membership, twelve hours’ CPD activity has to be recorded annually for each membership you have. Despite this, if an activity is appropriate to multiple memberships, it can be re-recorded against all relevant memberships.
It is crucial to remember that studying towards a qualification also contributes towards CPD. Student grade members can log their full 12-hour CPD commitment as self-directed private study and do not need to complete the requirement to attend an event.
Propertymark creates fresh opportunities for CPD frequently by securing high quality speakers for events throughout the nation and producing intellectually engaging articles via the Property Professional magazine and e-newsletters.
The professional body also help members through discounts on industry-leading training courses and qualification workbooks.
CPD hours can be gained from courses. For full day virtual courses, this equals 5 hours, and you get 7 hours of CPD from full day face to face courses.
Half-day virtual courses equal 3.5 hours of CPD, a short virtual course counts for between 1-2 hours of CPD, and e-learning counts for up to 1 hour of CPD.

“As 2025 fast approaches, it is crucial that members complete their CPD as it is a vital part of how Propertymark demonstrates the professionalism and commitment of its members. That is why we encourage all members to log their CPD as quickly as possible, especially for those who joined Propertymark halfway through the year.”
