AI property firm, Planna, has today announced the opening of its new office in Cardiff, marking the start of an ambitious growth phase beyond its London base.
Since launching in 2023, Planna is transforming the way homeowners, insurers, lenders and partners understand and care for properties. Its proprietary AI technology delivers unique, property-level insights that support smarter decisions.
Cardiff will serve as a centre for Planna’s long-term growth, with the company actively building a local team and creating new roles across multiple departments. It sees Wales’ thriving insurtech and fintech sectors as key drivers to its development.
Alain Hanash, CEO of Planna, said: “We’re thrilled to open our new Cardiff office and join its vibrant tech ecosystem. With major businesses headquartered in close proximity, we are looking to strengthen partnerships in the region, as well as tapping into Wales’ highly skilled talent pool.
“This is a really exciting step in Planna’s journey as we continue to scale our technology and deliver on our mission to transform how property decisions are made.”
With this expansion, Planna is positioning itself at the forefront of property intelligence, harnessing AI to help homeowners and industry partners protect and enhance their most valuable assets while underlining its commitment to the Welsh market and the wider property, fintech and insurtech industries.
At the heart of Planna’s platform is its flagship product, Home Score, a dynamic, AI-powered rating system that assesses a property’s condition, identifies potential risks, and highlights opportunities for improvement. This enables homeowners and industry partners alike to be proactive in managing their properties.
