IF you go down to The Woodlands you’ll be sure of a big surprise – a second home is opening for viewing at the Dinas Powys development.

Perfectly placed in a village location, close to Shortlands Wood and within a 20-minute commute of Cardiff, properties at the Edenstone Homes venture have been proving popular.

Launched off plan last autumn, a fully furnished four-bedroom Farnham style show home opened in January.

Around two thirds of the homes have now been sold and the new bespoke designed play area is soon to open.

With work progressing well, Edenstone is giving buyers fresh inspiration with a Tenbury view home, with four double bedrooms, opening from Saturday (November 23).

Sales director Adele McCoy said: “A year ago buyers had to rely on the floor plans to give them an idea of what life at The Woodlands would be like. The show home has been a great success and we’ve had lots of positive feedback from visitors. We’re also aware that while it wouldn’t be practical to have finished examples of every style of home we’re building, viewing is important as buying a house is a significant financial and emotional investment.

“With that in mind, we’re inviting people to look inside a finished example of the Tenbury. Viewing both properties will give buyers a good insight into the different layouts and the specification choices available.”

The Tenbury, with integral garage, is available from £429,995

The spacious lounge, at the front of the property, has a feature bay window.

The open plan kitchen and dining room enjoys lots of natural light, courtesy of French doors that lead out onto the rear garden. A utility provides a dedicated space for the washer and dryer. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are four double bedrooms, including master with en-suite, plus the family bathroom.

“The Tenbury is a fantastic family home, perfect for those who need more space as the children grow,” Adele added.

“We also appreciate that those considering moving to this size of home are likely to have an existing property to sell. We can help sellers become buyers with our EasyMove or in certain circumstances may speed up the process further with our Home Exchange scheme. And unlike many housebuilders we don’t have a limit to the value of the property we will exchange.”

Current availability at The Woodlands includes a range of four-bedroom homes.

Each of the properties features a superb specification as standard. Subject to build stage, buyers will be able to choose from a range of traditional and contemporary style kitchens, including selecting the cupboards and worktops. Bathrooms will feature contemporary white sanitary ware from Roca and premium ceramic wall tiling.
