The Poplar show home at Eastham Fields

CLASSIC yet modern, the new show home at Eastham Fields, Wirral has a timeless style and broad appeal.

The four-bedroom Poplar has just opened, providing prospective purchasers with their first real taste of what life in a brand-new home could be like.

Styled in-house by the Archway Homes team, it features the Pantone colour of the year, while also taking inspiration from the club colours of neighbours Anselmians RUFC, who play in blue and yellow.

Sales manager Samantha Dean explained: “Classic Blue is the Pantone colour of the year for 2020 and is a perfect choice for the show home at Eastham Fields, where we are building traditional looking homes in a conservation area. Just like our homes, it has a timeless appeal and helps create a relaxed atmosphere.

“In styling the show home we’ve opted to source the furniture, soft furnishings and other accessories from high street stores rather than trade suppliers so that if visitors want to recreate the look they can quite easily.”

The Poplar show home features a spacious lounge to the front, furnished with a pair of bold blue sofas with contrasting feature yellow chair. Blue cushions embellished with a gold geometric pattern complement the antique brass hexagonal coffee table.

The open plan kitchen, dining and family room span the width of the property. The finish of the kitchen is ‘White Craft Oak’, with blue accessories added to the food preparation area. Curtains in this part of the home are a plush fabric in Classic Blue, helping provide cohesion between the multifunctional space. The dining chairs complement the curtains perfectly, as does the sofa in the family room.

Upstairs, the colour palette is more varied, with more subtle tones including mustard rather than bright yellow.

The master bedroom is styled in mustard and mink. The stag head trend features in this room, including table lamp, light fitting, wall art and bedding. White bedside tables, plus dressing table with stool, complete this classic look.

Bedroom two is the domain of an older teen, styled with geometric prints to the bedding and rug in grey and lemon. Like the master bedroom, this room has an en-suite – perfect for teenagers who crave privacy and are prone to spend hours in the bathroom!

There’s also a fun children’s room, with twin beds and a sense of adventure. Jungle animal prints on the wall match the curtains, while the bottom sheet and pillows feature a map of the world.

The fourth and final bedroom is the guest room. It has a timeless appeal, thanks to the white and oak bedside tables and checked bedding.

Eastham Fields will eventually feature 21 properties in a choice of five designs, each with four bedrooms.

A third of the properties were reserved “off plan”. Two further reservations were made following the show home launch and there is strong interest in the remaining homes on the next phase.

All of the homes will feature a choice of fitted kitchens with NEFF appliances such as microwave, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher; white sanitaryware; carpets and floor tiling throughout; fitted wardrobes to master bedroom; and turfed gardens, amongst other high specification options, available subject to build stage.
