Mosley Common Homes Fit The Bill As Buyers’ Priorities Shift
A recent survey conducted by housebuilder Redrow shows that lockdown has switched up buyers’ priorities for their next home – and properties at Bridgewater View in Mossley Common tick all the boxes.
A quarter (24%) of future home movers in the UK are reconsidering what they want from their next home*, according to the research.
The new analysis of over 2,000 UK adults reveals that COVID-19 has forced many to reassess how they want to use the space in their home, and what community features and facilities they want to be surrounded by.
In the North West, respondents put private outdoor space (61%) at the top of their list while 34% wanted a bigger kitchen and 32% will be looking for excellent energy efficiency.
“It’s no wonder that homes at Bridgewater View have been selling as soon as they’re released,” says Sian Pitt, sales director at Redrow Homes (Lancashire).
“All our homes have great garden areas, plus open-plan kitchen and dining space meaning there’s plenty of room for families to spread out.
“Lockdown has changed the way we look at our homes, while working from home on a regular basis has created the need for separate study spaces and the great weather we’ve been having has meant families have wanted to spend more time outside.”
Proximity to green open space will be the most important community feature going forward with 40% of participants saying this is the most important factor for them, followed by smaller shops and a doctor’s surgery.
“Bridgewater View is in an excellent location. There’s a Spar shop within walking distance, plus a number of restaurants and Boothstown Medical Centre is less than half a mile away,” added Sian.
Bridgewater View is an ideal location for those looking at moving out of the city centre in search of a garden and more living space. Second steppers can also move into a home that suits their needs and can save time and money doing it with Redrow’s Help to Sell scheme.
Sian says: “Help to Sell makes moving home simple. We will help our customers to sell their current property, including arranging valuations and taking care of all the paperwork too. We even contribute towards estate agent fees too. And not forgetting the saving they can now also make thanks to the Stamp Duty holiday.”
To keep up to date with when the next release of homes will be available at Bridgewater View, would-be buyers can book a personal appointment with a Redrow sales consultant here or by calling 01942 447174.
