OUTSIDE space and room to work from home have moved up buyers’ priorities, with a new phase of a new community in Ross on Wye set to tick both boxes and more.

Bluebell Homes has joined sibling company Edenstone Homes in building at St Mary’s Garden Village. Work on the 32-home Bluebell phase is progressing well, with show homes due to open by appointment only from September 5.

Situated close to the planned community hub building, children’s play areas and allotments, the new phase enjoys a position within the garden village that will appeal to those who crave more outside space.

Sales director Adele McCoy explained: In recent weeks weve seen an increase in enquiries from people keen to know when the Bluebell Homes phase of St Marys Garden Village will be released for sale. It may be that they were already considering moving here; have perhaps seen the show homes taking shape or have reassessed their housing needs after lockdown.

Were looking forward to giving them all the chance to view the show homes and are already making appointments for those who want to be among the first to see inside. Moving here is very much a lifestyle choice and part of the appeal is that this phase is close to where the play area, community hub and allotments will be. Its perfect for those who want to spend more time outdoors as the wider community includes wetland areas, a formal garden and walking trails with exercise equipment.

The new Bluebell Homes phase of St Mary’s Garden Village is part of a 290-home development being shaped across 23 hectares.

The new show homes are examples of the Croft and Bamford house types.

The Bamford is a double fronted four-bedroom detached home. The dual aspect combined kitchen and dining room spans from the front to the rear of the property. The separate lounge offers direct access to the garden via French doors.

There’s also a study, perfect for regular or occasional home working. A utility and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, bedroom one has an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the other three bedrooms.

In the Croft, the lounge is at the front, accessed from a large hallway through to a combined kitchen and dining room spanning the width of the property.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, one with en-suite to compliment the main bathroom.

Many people who started working from home during lockdown have continued to do so and want a dedicated workspace,Adele added.

Our larger homes like the Bamford include a study, but if you dont need all four bedrooms in the Croft you could use one of the bedrooms as an office or even a dressing room.
