New Help to Buy Scheme Open for Business at Saxon Fields
Since the launch of the new Help to Buy scheme on the 16th December, leading Kent developer Pentland Homes are reporting an increase in enquiries at their flagship development, Saxon Fields. First-time buyers who sign up to the new scheme will be able to move in from 1st April 2021 and it is set to run until March 2023. With a Help to Buy equity loan the government lends homebuyers up to 20% of the cost of a new home meaning buyers need only a 5% deposit. The changes to the scheme have seen the introduction of regional price caps, which will be up to £437,600 in the south-east.
