An example of the Ascot, similar to that available at Bluebell Meadows, Fulwood

NHS and care workers could save thousands of pounds when they buy a brand new home, thanks to a special discount scheme being offered by Anwyl Homes.

The homebuilder is looking after those who look after the nation with the chance to save up to £7,500 off the price of a brand new home.

The discount is available across all of Anwyl’s developments, including Bluebell Meadows in Fulwood, which is close to the Royal Preston Hospital.

Located on Ladybank Avenue, Bluebell Meadows features a choice of four-bedroom detached homes, some of which are almost ready to move into.

Sales director for Anwyl Homes Lancashire Matthew Gould said: “The NHS and care worker discount is our way of showing our appreciation for the tireless and heroic efforts of health staff in our communities during the Coronavirus pandemic. The scheme has helped doctors, nurses, carers and others working in caring roles save thousands when buying a brand new home.

“The homes we’re building at Bluebell Meadows are less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Royal Preston Hospital, making them an idea choice for NHS staff. We even have some homes that can be moved into as soon as the paperwork is complete – and, being brand new, they are perfect for those who are working on the frontline and won’t have time for the repairs and improvements an older property may need.”

With Anwyl’s NHS and Care workers’ discount there’s the chance to save £500 for every £25,000 spent on a new home, up to a maximum discount of £7,500.

Using the scheme an eligible purchaser could receive a £6,500 discount off the price of a four-bedroom Ascot style home at Bluebell Meadows. Available on the open market from £336,995, using the NHS and care worker discount would reduce the price to £330,495.

The Ascot features an open plan kitchen/dining space with adjoining utility; spacious lounge with bay window, plus a cloakroom. All four bedrooms are doubles, one with en-suite shower room to complement the family bathroom.

Carpets have been fitted, the garden landscaped and an upgraded kitchen installed, with only the personal touches that make a house a home required.

Bluebell Meadows is an intimate development of just 26 homes in a sought-after neighbourhood with excellent amenities including shops, schools and outdoor space.

Show homes at Bluebell Meadows are open by appointment only. For more information see www.anwyl.co.uk/bluebell.

Between Bluebell Meadows and nearby developments, Stonebridge Fold in Longridge and Lawrence Gardens in Barton, Anwyl has a good choice of three and four-bedroom homes available in this part of Lancashire.
