First phase of Hoo St Werburgh development nears completion
Construction on the first phase of development at a new neighbourhood in Hoo St Werburgh is drawing to a close.
Bellway has delivered 136 new homes in phase one at Nightingale Rise, off Bells Lane, with just one home currently available for sale. The final seven homes in this phase, including the three-bedroom showhome, will be released when the development is near completion.
Work is already underway on the second phase at Nightingale Rise, which will comprise an exclusive collection of 21 two and three-bedroom homes, including five properties allocated as affordable housing.
The first homes in the second phase will be released for sale this summer.
Mark Harrop, Sales Director for Bellway Kent, said: “The first phase at Nightingale Rise has been very successful and is already close to selling out.
“We are expecting phase two to be just as popular with buyers, particularly given the limited number of homes available and the fact they will complement the portfolio of homes that we have already delivered in Hoo St Werburgh so well.”
Phase two is being built on the former Hillcrest land in Hoo St Werburgh, which was purchased in October 2020. An access road will be created to link the two phases of the development.
Mark said: “Phase two is the final phase of new homes at Nightingale Rise that will complete this particular Bellway development in Hoo St Werburgh.
“Work on the second phase is progressing well and we are looking forward to launching these exclusive homes in the coming months.”
Nightingale Rise is a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes in a rural Kent setting but within a commutable distance of London.
The last remaining home currently available at Nightingale Rise is The Cormorant house type, a spacious four-bedroom detached house with a garage and off-street parking, priced at £492,995.
