Barnsdales in Cirencester expands residential services with new property manager

Property management company Barnsdales has appointed Louise Ballinger as its new residential block manager for the South of England.

Based at the company’s office in Cirencester, Louise will be expanding the residential property management services provided by Barnsdales in Cirencester, the South East and the South West.

After eight years in residential property management, Louise joins Barnsdales from one of the UK’s largest residential property management firms. Now working with a smaller portfolio of clients, Louise aims to deliver first class service to owners and residents alike.

Louise Ballinger, Residential Block Manager at Barnsdales said:

“As someone responsible for managing residential properties on behalf of landlords, property owners and tenants, customer service and customer care is crucial. You have to have great communication and you have to be open, honest and fair.

“Property isn’t just bricks and mortar; you’re dealing with people’s homes and so you need to take the time to talk to residents and give them the attention and service that they want, need and expect. Property isn’t cheap and so it’s only right for people to want to see their money’s worth and to know that you are working to support them.

“The Barnsdales Cirencester team is much smaller than the teams I’ve been a part of previously, and that means we can give that much more personalised and dedicated service which really makes the difference. Barnsdales in Cirencester is a really exciting, growing team and I’ll be adding my skill set to their expertise in surveying and commercial property.”

Established in 1905, Barnsdales is a family business with offices in Doncaster, Sheffield, Manchester, Lincoln, London and Cirencester. The company is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

The company established its office in Cirencester in 2018 with the acquisition of David Allberry & Company, a property consultancy practice which began in 1979. Since then, the consultancy has expanded, managing a wide range of properties across the region and enabling clients to access the dedicated support of the Cirencester team as well as the services and expertise of the wider Barnsdales Group.

Senior surveyor, Andrew Seale who leads Barnsdales in Cirencester said:

“Barnsdales has a long history of supporting residential property owners and residents across the country and Louise will play a key role in helping us expand these services in the South East and South West.

“We’ve been building the Cirencester team over the last few years and we’re quickly building a reputation in the region for our exceptional level of service and expertise. I’m really pleased to be welcoming Louise to the team and I’m sure clients and residentials will instantly form a great relationship with her thanks to her dedication and commitment to honesty and fairness as she works to make people’s homes safer and more comfortable.”
