Neighbours invited to come together as new showhome launches at Goff’s Oak development

Bellway has welcomed its new residents to meet up as the housebuilder unveiled a second showhome at its Cedarbrook Rise development in Goff’s Oak.

New homeowners were invited to a ‘meet the neighbours’ event as Bellway opened its four-bedroom Reedmaker showhome design during the Easter weekend on Saturday 8 April.

Bellway North London is delivering 66 properties at the site off Burton Lane, providing a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses. These include 40 properties for private sale and 26 affordable homes available to local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

Public open space and parkland at the development is also being delivered by Bellway and is beginning to be opened up ahead of the summer. A three-bedroom Harper showhome was launched at Cedarbrook Rise last September.

Greg Allsop, Sales and Marketing Director for Bellway North London, said: “There was an extremely good turnout from customers and our existing residents for the launch of our Reedmaker showhome.

“Our new residents were able to chat, enjoy the Easter weekend sunshine and spend time at ‘pets corner’ with our guest animal friends for the event.

“There is a clear demand for new homes in this area and that has been reflected by the consistently high sales rates we have seen at Cedarbrook Rise. More than half of the properties for private sale have already been reserved since we released the first homes onto the market last April. The majority of residents in the  now-completed Elizabeth Gardens street address have now occupied their homes, while the first completions at Jubilee Close will start to move in from May onwards.”

The four-bedroom detached Reedmaker house type features an open-plan kitchen/dining area, a utility room and en suites to two bedrooms. The Reedmaker also boasts a garage and parking for two further cars – with an electric vehicle charging point.

To celebrate the launch of the Reedmaker showhome over the Easter weekend, Bellway organised a series of Easter-related activities for visitors to enjoy. There was an Easter egg hunt, Easter-themed face painting and a mini petting zoo featuring rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as a coffee van providing refreshments.

Greg said: “It was lovely to see so many families at the launch taking part in the Easter activities. The face painting and small animals proved particularly popular with the children. As well as giving people a first look at the new showhome, the event provided a nice opportunity for existing residents at Cedarbrook Rise to mix with our new customers and their potential future neighbours.”

A selection of three and four-bedroom properties are currently available to reserve at Cedarbrook Rise, with prices starting from £565,000.
