Interest in sage green is building, according to new research from eco paint brand Victory Colours.

The family-run brand has analysed data from Pinterest which shows searches for ‘sage green walls’ have increased 30% over a month.

Victoria Yardley, Managing Director of Victory Colours, said: “It’s no surprise that we are seeing interest in sage green on the rise. It’s a beautiful, calming shade that fills a home with a sense of calm.

“Plus, it’s earthy green hue offers a connection to nature, and with biophilia remaining a strong trend in interiors, sage green looks set to take centre stage.”

Victory Colours’ own sage green is a stunning beauty with the moniker Cloud Tree No.31.

Named after the distinctive tree renowned for its characteristic topiary, Cloud Tree No.31 is a stylish pale green. It boasts subtle pigments within the colour which means it changes shade throughout the day as the light changes.

It is a versatile shade. With its muted green-grey tones it works beautifully alongside a range of interior styles, from minimalist Scandinavian to warm Mid-Century décor. While it is ideal for use across all walls, which will envelope a room with calm and tranquillity, it also looks fabulous when used on the ceiling.

Vicky said: “Cloud Tree No.31 is one of those evergreen shades that looks fantastic wherever it is used. From bathrooms and kitchens to living spaces and bedrooms, it exudes a sense of serenity which makes it an ideal shade for a relaxing home.”

Like all other shades in the Victory Colours’ shades, Cloud Tree No.31 is low in VOCs and solvent-free.

It is available now from Victory Colours, priced at £44.95 for a 2.5-litre tin of matt emulsion.

It is also available in Kitchen/Bathroom paint, Interior Wood Paint, Exterior Wood Paint and Masonry Paint.
