Reapit puts PayProp integration at centre of plan to elevate estate agencies

Steve Richmond - General Manager, UK&I, Reapit

Leading PropTech provider Reapit has revealed its latest product offerings at its first global product event, Elevate ’24.

In the UK, exciting new products Reapit Go and Reapit Bookings were joined by exclusive integrations with Reapit’s rent payment platform PayProp and new partner, leading property data provider, Homesearch. Elevate ’24 also highlighted several recent Reapit updates, including support for UPRNs, automated EPC certificate retrieval, What3Words integration, sales progression optimisation, and enhanced keys management.

These new products and features are available immediately to Reapit-powered agencies across the UK. Together, they represent a major leap forward in Reapit’s drive to equip agents with all the tools they need to build thriving estate agencies under one roof.

Out of office but in the know

New mobile product Reapit Go unchains agents from their desks, giving them the power of Reapit on the move. Agents can now access their office calendar, easily manage upcoming appointments, dive into property and contact records, store viewing feedback and notes, and more when away from their desks. This not only simplifies their day but also minimises admin when they get back to the office.

Reapit Go comes at a crucial time for the industry as it experiences pressing recruitment issues. PayProp reported earlier this year that over 40% of property professionals were hiring, but only 1 to 5 qualified applicants were applying per vacancy. By freeing up agents from needless admin, agencies can achieve much more with the team they already have.

On-demand viewings

With industry data showing an average of 19 applicants per rental property, shortening the time it takes to book applicants in for viewings is crucial for agents.

Reapit Bookings streamlines this process by pre-qualifying applicants, who are sent a form as soon as they hit ‘submit enquiry’ on a property portal. This lets prospective buyers and tenants share their details, allowing Reapit’s tech to automatically sort the serious from the tyre-kickers. Those that fit the criteria specified by the agent can choose from pre-specified viewing slots or submit their availability depending on how agencies want to work.

Painless rental payments

Elevate ’24 also announced a much-anticipated integration with leading rental payment platform PayProp, with whom it recently merged. By linking Reapit with PayProp’s best-in-class payments, agencies can create new tenancies, manage tenancy renewals and soon action contractor payments across the two platforms in a few simple steps. This is all done without agents having to re-enter any data, saving a significant amount of time and cutting down on errors. Bringing the power of seamless payment automation to Reapit is the first step in the ongoing integration of the two platforms.

In the know

The fruits of Reapit’s recent strategic partnership with Homesearch were also revealed, with two new products providing agents with even greater insight into the sales and lettings market.

The new built-in Insights tool gives agents access to data on 16 million more homes than any other third-party data source. This offers agents unparalleled insight into the property they are evaluating, helping them walk into appraisals and come out with instructions.  It also helps reassure agency clients that they are choosing the right local experts to sell and let their homes.

Re:Contact, on the other hand, helps agents uncover new opportunities with minimal effort. It combines agency data with current market activity, so agents can easily track property changes like new listings and ownership transfers and reconnect with past clients – even those they may not have spoken to in years.

With inflation falling and interest rates predicted to follow, seeing those moves before the competition will help build agency pipelines as the market picks up.

Elevating the agent

Commenting on the new technology now available for agents across the UK, Matt McGown, Reapit’s Chief Product Officer, explained: “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Reapit. The real estate industry is evolving rapidly, and staying ahead of the competition requires more than just adopting new tools – it demands a commitment to constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

“The advancements we’ve unveiled at Elevate ’24 have been developed in partnership with our customers and focused on addressing market trends. We have designed these tools to empower agents with cutting-edge technology that not only improves efficiency but also positions them as leaders in the market.”

Steve Richmond, Reapit General Manager in UK&I added: “Elevating the agent so they can deliver exceptional service is what has driven our latest releases. Who you choose to trust your property with, buy or let from comes down to that personal relationship between the agent and the client, and our tech is focused on strengthening that bond.

“But we’re not done. The new products we have announced today are simply the next step on our journey to being able to provide property professionals with everything they need to thrive, all under one roof.”
