WEEKS rather than months could be all it takes to sell your current property and move to a brand new home in the Staffordshire village of Loggerheads.

While the average selling time for properties in the TF9 postcode is almost seven months (204 days according to, Elan Homes sold three homes in as many weeks at its Brook Meadow development.

Recognising that those who want to move to the Staffordshire village are likely to have a property of their own to sell, the homebuilder is offering to speed things up.

Designed to help people moving up the housing ladder, those who choose to move with part exchange could effectively have a guaranteed cash buyer and exchange contracts in just 28 days. They can stay in their current property until their new home is ready.

With part exchange a customer must be buying a more expensive home. However with Easy Move the value of either property is immaterial. The scheme can be used by downsizers, upsizers and people making a sideways move.

Elan will arrange for the customer’s property to be valued by independent estate agents and will work with the agent to secure a buyer, paying the agent’s fees in full.

Three and four-bedroom homes at Brook Meadow are available from £239,995. A four-bedroom Belvoir, priced from £299,995, is almost ready to move into with an upgraded kitchen, plus flooring and turfed rear garden included.
